COMMAND CONTROL MICRO-GAS MISER

What is the Command Control Micro-Gas Miser?

Simply: It is money saved.

The Command Control is an attachment for welding equipment that eliminates surges in inert gases and prevents the usual waste from the initial gas burst.  The Command Control Micro-Gas Miser replaces the flow meter and is a labor saving controlled flow lockout.  It is capable of saving 30% to 60% on inert gas expenses during MIG and TIG welding.  The Command Control will last the life of your welder (and longer) and can be repaired if damaged.  It will not alter the quality of your welds.
Savings explained: The Command Control eliminates the wasteful initial burst in welding.  The shorter your weld, the more you save.
  • On a 10 sec. weld with a 20ft hose, it will save you 21%.
  • On a 3 sec. weld with a 20ft hose it will save you 50%.
  • On a 10 sec. weld with a 55ft hose, it will save you 55%.
  • On a 3 sec. weld with a 55ft hose it will save you 85%.

Saving up to 85% on inert gas can mean saving thousands of dollars.

Specifications:

  • Construction: Laser-drilled brass.
  • Dimentions: 2-3/8'' x 1-3/4'' x 3/4''
  • Net Weight: 10-3/4 ounces
  • Flow Rate: 15-40 cubic ft. per hour (adjustable)
  • Suggested Fittings: AW-15A, AW-427
As seen in the picture, the Command Control comes with male to female inert gas fittings for attaching to your welder.  You place this device either directly at the solenoid gas inlet side of your MIG or TIG machine or at the outbound downstream side of the machine.  It will work fine either way, but APS recommends the outboard downstream placement.  It's simple to install, and will soon be saving you hundreds and possibly thousands of dollars.
